Antonina Shevchenko, Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru as well as a mixed martial arts artist fighting for UFC. UFC for the Flyweight Division is currently a Kyrgyzstani. Antonina Shevchenko broke her professional MMA record in 2002 at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. She was victorious in the second round TKO, and then won 2 more fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to achieve a record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a short time off from MMA and concentrated on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 when she fought Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous vote before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina utilized her fighting skills and striking skills to TKO Nievera in the clinch with knees and body. Antonina was offered the UFC invitation following her win. Antonina was offered a UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi in a split-decision fight after winning the first fight by an unanimous decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to beat Lucie Pudilova with a back-naked choke submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record over her next three bouts, winning over Ariane Lipski while losing to Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
