Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York New York U.S.A. was an American actress known for portraying powerful, but fragile characters. Linney grew up in a family of actors, like her father, Romulus Linney is a playwright. She graduated in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated at the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City 1990. She was in New York City when she began her Broadway career. She was praised for both Hedda Gabrieller as well as Six Degrees of Separation.
